SILICONE CANDY STRIP

This silicone candy strip is used for various decorations using the pouring technique. It’s very versatile when working with isomalt and caramel. It’s used with the pouring or pulling technique to create diverse shapes.

We will use these shapes for different applications, such as in artistic sculpture. The silicone candy band is very flexible because it is 100% silicone. It perfectly withstands the high temperatures used when working with candy.

It has a length of 1m and a thickness of 1 x 1 cm.

When using the silicone band for candy, avoid getting too close to the edge of the band, as the candy is very heavy and this will create what’s called a wave at the edge. Would you like to learn the pouring technique?
