ORANGE BLOSSOM

The orange blossom is of Asian origin, more specifically through the Indomalayan region of China. This crop has a name of Arabic origin (az-zahr, which means ‘white flower’) and is commonly associated with the flowers of the orange, lemon, and citron trees.

It is the dried flower, selected to give its particular aroma in a light touch that will remind us of citrus fruits, without perceiving a lemon or orange type personality.

Its properties are deeply rooted in medicinal uses due to the main active ingredients in its oils (limonene, linalool and methyl anthranilate, among others)

Contributions: It adds a light touch of honey, as most honeys contain traces of this flower. A very distinctive and intense floral aroma.
